Qualifying

Description:
To Qualify fully, the car must complete 60 laps around a 1.7 mile track. Each driver must complete 15 laps.

Scrutineering

Description:
During "Scrutineering", inspectors check to make sure that each car meets all of the official regulations, and drivers must undergo several driving tests to prove the durability and safety of their cars as well as their own effectiveness as drivers. This year, Scrutineering took place at a track in Cresson, Texas.
